Bike ride -We had a good turn out for the ride along the south downs way from Cranlegh RFC to Tim Gue's farm , the weather wasn't kind but even so everyone seemed to enjoyed the day, particularly when Ollie decided to take a closer look at the ground . The Gue's put on a lovely spread of food and drink and this proved to be a good opportunity for everyone to chat and mix with each other , something we rarely seem to get time for . The big bonus was that to date the event raised over £2000 so a very successful day .
Golf day - Proved to be an excellent day , the weather was blustery but luckily dry , 14 teams entered with prizes going to the winners in the foursomes, longest drive , nearest the pin and various others all very kindly supplied by the Dagwells. The meal afterwards was very enjoyable and everyone had a good day. We also held a raffle with some lovely prized donated. Tony Diprose very kindly attended the event and was auctioned for £100 to play with one of the teams . Karen took photographs of the day and sold them to the participants .Our thanks go to Lindfield Golf club , Tony diprose and in particular the Dagwells for organising the event and for supplying so many awards and prizes. Tony was presented a photograph of him with the tour party who attended. £1600 was raised on the day.
Haywards Heath dinner - Three of the new players to join the tour , Alistair , Matt and Domonic attended the Haywards heath celebratory dinner at managed to raise £230 , excellent effort .
Car Boot sale - Unfortunately the weather wasn't good again and this obviously stopped a lot of people attending however it turnout to be very successful with £530 being raised in just a few hours . The Sellens had a stall there and kindly gave all they raised £40 to the tour fund . Big thanks to Geoff , Claire, Charles and Crowborough RFC for arranging the day
